A New Story Book from M. Kansu; “Green Frog Snake Hunger”
Third book of our local poem-story-writer M. Kansu, “Green Frog Snake Hunger” met with art fans.
M. Kansu, whose first story “Misery of the Gorilla” was published in 1962, goes beyond the accustomed imagination and story formalism with a different style of expression within the Turkish Cypriot story telling with this story. He essayed to write in an inter-species line with new, alternative, eclectic, pieced narratives, and continues with his narrative experiences by enriching them.
While M.Kansu with the 29 story “Green Frog Snake Hunger” squeezed in 136 pages, sets up another life which erects from its own reality but, strikes into the notes of “life” while being written; with his distinctive voice, and structure of image, indicates that readers can explore new countries during their voyages of dream and reality; thought and emotions, life and experiences by penetrating into their blood circulations.
