Our artists participated in the Italy Paper Festival
The Paper Art Congress, organized by IAPMA every year in a different country, took place this year in the form of a “Paper Festival” in Italy and France. Our artists İnci Kansu, İsmet Tatar and Emel Samioğlu participated in this festival that lasted for a week. Workshops during the festival informed  the participants of the new techniques of paper art and the organizers provided materials and studios so that the artists could also work and practice these techniques themselves. The festival also included conferences, concerts and various performances. Tours that informed the participants about the history of the region were organized. The festival programme was simultaneously entertaining and informative and it introduced new ideas and experiences. Our artists once again drew attention in an international event with their works and artistic identities. The organizers also stated that they would like to organize the “Paper Art Congress” or “Festival” in the TRNC in the years to come.
