Ozone

Received my dual 4 ohm 12" 3 days after my order. To break in and kind of unfairly compare this to my current setup, I disconnected my (2) 12" JL Audio w3v2 from my JL Audio 500/v2 amp and wired up the Ozone at two ohms. The box is a chambered sealed dual 12" box. Compared to the two JL w3 at 500 watts, the one Ozone clearly played a deeper bass no matter what song, the bass sounded deeper and more comfortable than the jl w3's. The jl's at 500 watts were overall louder at some points (higher bass tones) but they are rated 250 watts rms each so its an optimal setup with the 500/1v2 amp. Anything even slightly over 500 watts would cause them to clip. The Ozone wasn't even phased. Keep in mind this setup was to break in the Ozone so it was nowhere near optimal. My setup for the Ozone will be a ported enclosure with a 1000 watt rms amp because it seemed to laugh at the 500 watts I fed it and I personally think the 800 watt rms rating is underrated. I have never switched from JL Audio and did not replace my w3's with the Ozone so there are no biased opinions here. I have zero regret dipping into CT Sounds. My complaint is they only give you two really nice separately designed CT Sounds stickers, where I wanted 5-7 stickers minimum.

Very Impressive

These speakers are great! They hit extremely hard! I have 2 Ozone 12s on a CT sounds AT v1400.1. The amp is a beast also! The shipping is very fast! I dont think you could find a better speaker. I am sold on these and will be buying more for other vehicles. On a side note I contacted CT Sounds on which sub I should buy, They told me with my setup the Ozone is the way to go. I asked if I should go up and buy the Strato. They said no stay with the Ozone because of they size of my amp. They told me to buy the CHEAPER sub. I do not know very many companies that would do that! Thanks for the help CT Sounds. My son is happy!

Ozone 12" Subs

I replaced a pair of Skar SVR 12s with CT Ozone 12" subs. "WoW" these bad boys made the skars sound a bit on the cheap side. The skars we're ok,but the CT Ozone 12s pounded louder and clean!! That rich deep bass we all strive for. They are ran by a 1500watt Sundown mono amp. These will only if ever be replaced by more or other CT subs in the future. Another satisfied CT customer!!!! Thanks CT.

budget SPL

It's hard to beat for the price. I have a $70 pawn shop special (Jensen XDA91RB) powering it which makes for a good combo. Videos show the amp dyno at 787W up to clipping. I built the enclosure to 1.58 cu ft so it's closer to the boomer specs but I think the SQ is great. For similar results, I know people who spend more on just a sub than this amp/sub/enclosure combo cost.
