*Boomer response curve (SPL) is geared towards people looking for maximum loudness. This style box will be louder than the flat response curve at some frequencies, has a high impedance rise, and can utilize an amplifier rated at a slightly higher RMS than the subwoofer.
*Enclosure recommendations do not account for subwoofer, bracing, and port displacement.

Sounds good for the price....but only been playing them a day, due to waiting on a new radio. Hopefully once they get broken in they will prove to be a good decision.
I went sealed for this single one. My thoughts were being an 18 that it will hit low either way, but I listen to many styles of music and wanted something that would sound as good with country as it does with metal and rap. I did not want super boomy bass but have no doubt it would give you that if that’s what you’re looking for. Superior sound over most subs I’ve owned over the past 25 years. I am a CT Sounds customer for life!
Put two of them in a trunk with a custom sealed box for a customer on a soundqubed 1250.1
its a good sub its just i got 2 of them in back of a navigator an I built my own box its 43inchs wide an 41 inchs long an 15 inch tall wit a port thats 6 inch wide an bout 4 inches tall an its 19 inches long it goes inch the box its a blow thru port it seems that they can't handle very much I got a 2000 watt mono sundown amp the cheapest one an its only half way up an sounds like there bottoming out or distorting or sumthan I got them at 1ohm please tell me what the problem could be
