*Boomer response curve (SPL) is geared towards people looking for maximum loudness. This style box will be louder than the flat response curve at some frequencies, has a high impedance rise, and can utilize an amplifier rated at a slightly higher RMS than the subwoofer.
*Enclosure recommendations do not account for subwoofer, bracing, and port displacement.

Great company great and and subs would def buy from them again ...
I have 3 meso 8s in my wife’s truck and they are damn phenomenal. I got this as I’m somewhat waiting for my sundown zv6(back order) so I got this so I could still have some bump. Compared to my skar evls I used to have this things pretty damn good. I already had high expectations cause of my wife’s 8s and this single 12 didn’t disappoint. I am running it kinda hard as well so it does get a little smelly but it sounds damn good at any level I’m playing it at. The only thing that could make this thing better would be some more xmax. It’s a damn good combo of sq and spl style sub as is.
First off I've got to say I'm new to the sound system game. I ordered 2 tropo xl 12" subs and originally ordered a 1000 watt Amp. Something was telling me that I should maybe talk with the service department. And I am glad I did the steered me in the rt direction by recommending the 2000 watt Amp. I was blown away by the low price I paid ,and the great customer service. I would highly recommend CT sound to all my friends. Thanks for putting out a great product.
First 12 I've owned. It's loud and thumps really hard. Planning on getting a CT Sounds CT-1500 to power it. I also have 2-8" Meso in a prefab skar audio box on an RP1500 and they really pound. I switch them up from time to time. But I wanna upgrade my electrical first and have both in my trunk. I'm pushing maybe 1000w and getting 13.8v to 14.2 with amp on 0, bass boost halfway and on volume 36 and it really pounds down to 12.8v. best I've ever heard so far
Love this sub, bought 1 and was so impressed I bought another 1. Absolutely would recommend. RMS is 1000w but it handles more with ease. Such a dope product.
